Understanding LexiFi's Deployment Models - Flexible architecture tailored to each environment.

At LexiFi, we’ve designed a modular, powerful architecture that adapts to a wide range of business requirements and IT constraints - from independent desks’ needs to global platforms.

In this Monthly Focus, we explore the deployment models available and the value of architectural flexibility - both for initial onboarding and long-term evolution.

☁️ Hosting Flexibility

LexiFi supports both cloud-based and on-premise hosting for all production deployment models. LexiFi’s deployment strategy is anchored in an uncompromising commitment to security, performance, and control.

Regardless of the selected deployment model, every implementation is delivered as a single-tenant environment. This approach guarantees:

  • Full data segregation
  • Performance consistency
  • Seamless alignment with stringent IT security and regulatory frameworks

It also allows for bespoke configuration, custom integration, and flexible upgrade schedules, ensuring each deployment evolves in lockstep with the client’s operational and strategic priorities.

Hosting Options:

  • Cloud-hosted (default): LexiFi handles the full stack - including infrastructure, updates, backup and monitoring - for a seamless, low-maintenance experience.
  • On-premise (client-hosted): LexiFi delivers the full deployment package. Clients take full responsibility for installing, configuring, administrating and maintaining the entire infrastructure. This model is well-suited for institutions that choose to allocate internal IT resources to hosting and infrastructure management, often driven by specific compliance, control, or data residency requirements.

💡 A key differentiator of LexiFi is its deployment flexibility: clients can select either cloud or on-premises deployment and, if needed, transition between models during the project lifecycle, with the proper planning and support.

⚙️ The Value of Modularity

Our modular approach offers both strategic and operational advantages:

  • Adaptability: from focused deployment on a structuring desk to broad rollout across multiple geographies and user bases.
  • Scalability: adding components without replacing the core platform.
  • Continuity: robust fallback options (e.g. Standalone Desktop) ensuring minimal disruption even in extreme cases.
  • Control: clients choose how much infrastructure they manage.

🔧 Deployment models in detail

1. Web App

This model allows all end users to access LexiFi directly through their web browser, eliminating the need for local software installation. It provides full customization and flexibility, enabling fine-tuning of LexiFi functionalities to match each client’s processes.

It supports diverse user groups, from business users to workflow participants, read-only users, and external stakeholders, ensuring the right level of access for everyone. With a modern interface and centralized administration, it enhances efficiency and supports strong governance.

2. Desktop Only

Tailored for structuring, risk, and middle-office teams, the desktop-only deployment provides full control over platform configuration and operational setup, while using the local IT infrastructure.

3. Hybrid (Desktop + Web App)

Combining the full capabilities of the desktop for power users with the simplicity and accessibility of the web application for other users. This model allows clients to maintain control of LexiFi Web configuration while giving administrators advanced access directly via the desktop.

4. API Deployment

While APIs are included with all setups, LexiFi also offers API-only deployments. This model exposes LexiFi’s core functionalities through secure, programmatic interfaces - without a front-end - allowing clients to integrate the platform into their own systems and workflows, which may enhance existing applications/platforms with new functionalities.

Perfect for custom automation, data exchange, or embedded experiences in third-party applications.

5. Standalone Desktop

A complete, standalone installation of LexiFi Desktop with no shared server or database. This model is ideal for sandbox environments and business continuity scenarios, providing almost full functionality in an isolated mode. Note: Available only on-premise.
