PDF termsheet Importer of structured products.

Drag and drop your termsheets to create products!

The PDF importer allows our clients to drag & drop PDF term sheets directly in LexiFi Apropos, and have products automatically defined in LexiFi. This process is instantaneous: the contract parameters are plugged into LexiFi the second the user drags and drops the file.

This tool scans the term sheets and recognizes the definition of a given product using a combination of layout and keywords analysis. A number of control mechanisms are put in place in order to minimize operational risk and send alerts in case of anomalies in the contract definition.

The tool only works on a list of issuers’ term sheets that is constantly being expanded.

Video description: Use the PDF Importer to automatically book your products. In this video, we display the page listing the current contracts in the database, then click through the Import option. We quickly go through the pages of the term sheet PDF document that we will import. Then, we drag and drop this file in the import page. The product is instantly booked. We highlight some available modules in the product management page. The list of the modules that are displayed is not exhaustive (Information; Schedule: Lifecycle management; Payoff diagram; Graphical simulation; Documents; Trades; Backtest; Pricing). Scrolling down the page, one can see product-related information. Going back to the home page, we see the product appearing in the database. Finally, we show how the PDF Importer generates an annotated PDF document. We click on “Explain PDF Import” and upload the term sheet: the upload creates an annotated pdf document that highlights and explains the concepts it is reading.
