In LexiFi’s environment, the Log Viewer, initially available only on the desktop, is now accessible on the web. The web version features a user-friendly interface improving usability and accessibility.
The Log Viewer is used to monitor and review system activity, application logs, and for error tracking. This tool provides insights into the execution of various processes within LexiFi’s systems, such as: monitoring system events in real time, helping with troubleshooting issues, identifying bugs and the possibility of rollbacking in case of error:
Filtering and Searching: logs can often be extensive, so the tool includes filtering and searching capabilities, allowing users to focus on specific time periods, processes, or error types, making it easier to locate relevant information.
Audit and Compliance: in institutional and financial settings, logs serve as records of system activity, which can be crucial for compliance, security, and audit purposes.
Rollback: the Log Viewer also includes the ability to rollback to a previous state using the “rollback” red button, enabling quick recovery from errors or unintended changes. Only Superusers have access to this feature.
The log viewer plays an important role in maintaining operational integrity, troubleshooting, and enhancing the system’s overall reliability.
