Software Engineer.

LexiFi is looking for a full-time software engineer to join its core development team.

Job Description

As a software engineer at LexiFi you will be part of the core development team, in charge of creating and maintaining LexiFi’s innovative software stack. This includes user-facing products, backend components, infrastructure libraries and internal tooling.

The position requires strong software development abilities and a desire to learn and work with OCaml, a wonderful multi-paradigm programming language used by LexiFi for the vast majority of its developments. (Btw, LexiFi actively participates in the development of OCaml itself!)

LexiFi is evolving from a pure software provider to a hybrid model, where some client projects are hosted by LexiFi on its cloud infrastructure. Some experience with cloud technologies and/or some appetite for the DevOps mindset would thus be a plus for the position.

With LexiFi you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment in a rewarding and stimulating position. LexiFi invests a significant part of its revenue in R&D and in code-quality efforts, making it a perfect match for the developer in love with beautiful code and innovative solutions.

LexiFi’s development team works hand-in-hand with client-facing teams (sales, support), allowing developers who enjoy it to be involved in many design decisions and to be in direct contact with clients and partners. Many projects are also done jointly with the quant team (developers focused on mathematical finance, data processing, etc).

What we offer

  • A job with a broad spectrum of technical topics, a direct impact on core products.

  • An engineering company which values technical expertise and development initiatives.

  • A modern, international work environment built on collaboration, flexibility and respect in a dedicated and motivated team.

Profile

  • Experience in software development, either in an industrial context or as a hobbyist (e.g. contributions to open-source projects).

  • Problem solving mentality, team work and communication skills.

  • Bonus points for :

    • An academic degree in computer science or mathematics.
    • DevOps experience and/or familiarity with cloud technologies.
    • Familarity with OCaml or a similar language.
    • Experience or interest in the financial industry.
