Open position: Market Data Specialist.

LexiFi is looking for a full-time Market Data Specialist to join its Sales and Marketing team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

A proper market data feed setup is one of the key ingredients of a successful financial software implementation.

The Market Data Specialist will take on the ownership of market data matters at LexiFi. This demanding position encompasses several complementary dimensions: business, administrative, compliance and technical.

As a member of the “Business” force, you will join a team combining expertise in financial engineering, software engineering and client services. Being responsible for market data matters, this position is de facto at the cornerstone of the organization. The Market Data Specialist is expected to have direct communication with all major stakeholders inside and outside the company.

Market Data Specialist at LexiFi is a multi-faceted job that is divided into the following responsibilities:

Business development:

• Improve, extend and promote LexiFi’s integrated market data feed
• Participate in the market data commercial offer setup
• Help in the negotiation process with suppliers and clients
• Answer to market data questions in the RFP questionnaire during the sales cycle
• Proactive review of data suppliers’ offerings and available solutions
• Collaboration with LexiFi’s technical team to enhance the solutions

Supplier management:

• Handle the day-to-day business relationship with data suppliers
• Responsible for producing required supplier reporting
• Monitoring of suppliers’ services

Client care:

• Design and validate market data feed setup for new client projects
• Advise existing clients to improve their data setup
• Address client requests related to market data feed and usage

LexiFi’s software handles the following asset classes: equities, indices, foreign exchanges, interest rates, inflation, credit and commodities. For each asset class, LexiFi’s software requires a vast set of market data items to feed the numerous available functionalities.

This position combines high-level expertise, to ensure proper governance of market data matters, including data compliance issues, and detailed analysis both on the technical subjects and individual data items.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 to 5 years experience in the financial industry, in a position related to market data management
