Jean-Marc Eber
Founder and Chief Executive OfficerPrior to founding LexiFi in 2000, Mr. Eber worked for ten years at Société Générale where he served most recently as Global Head of Quantitative Research in the Capital Markets Division. In this capacity, Mr. Eber was responsible for the design and implementation of software tools and mathematical models for trading complex derivative products. Mr. Eber is a regular speaker at financial engineering conferences and has published numerous papers on financial risk management and on the application of programming language theory to financial trading and risk management. Mr. Eber holds an M.S. in econometrics and an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Strasbourg and a Ph.D. in mathematical economics from the University of Bonn where he was an assistant professor.
Philippe Lecocq
Business Development, Marketing and Sales, Finance and AdministrationPrior to joining LexiFi in 2001, Mr. Lecocq spent 12 years in financial software ventures in France, England, and the United States. Mr Lecocq was previously employed in the institutional equities division of BZW Securities in New York and Merrill Lynch in London. He began his career as a credit analyst at Société Générale in London. Mr. Lecocq graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris.
François Maurel
Chief Technology OfficerMr. Maurel joined LexiFi in 2004 after graduating from Ecole normale supérieure in Paris and completing an M.S. and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Paris VII, where he studied probabilistic models of logic. His research interests also included semantics of programming languages and code generation techniques.
