International Conference on Functional Programming

LexiFi is sponsoring the International Conference on Functional Programming 2012 to be held in September in Copenhagen.

LexiFi's Chief Technical Officer, Alain Frisch, is directly involved in three events affiliated with ICFP as:

• Program Chair of the ML Workshop, to be held on 13th September;
• Program Committee member of the OCaml Users and Developers Workshop, to be held on 14th September;
• co-author of the paper "Financial Software on GPUs: Between Haskell and Fortran", to be presented at the Functional High-Performance Computing, FHPC'12 Workshop on 15th September.

Functional programming has become an increasingly popular tool in the world of financial software. LexiFi, which fully supports and participates in this trend towards better tools, has been using OCaml since 2000. LexiFi is a well-known company in the functional programming community.
